Former Chairman of Sterling Bank, Asue Ighodalo, don win the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election for Edo State.

Ighodalo, wey Governor Godwin Obaseki support, win for the delegate election wey happen for Thursday for Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

But the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, hold another primary for different place and dem talk say he win with 300 votes.

Ighodalo get 577 votes, wey make am beat Shaibu wey get one vote and other candidates wey score zero. For the acceptance speech, Ighodalo thank Obaseki and the people of Edo State for their love and support.
