Many people dey feared dead after helicopter crash for Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Monday, October 5, 2026.

According to reports, the helicopter crash for one swampy area inside Igbokoda creek.

As at the time of this report, authorities never confirm the exact number of people wey die for the crash. But one source say some people fit don die, especially people wey dey inside the helicopter.

The source explain say people hear very loud sound from the area where the helicopter crash happen, but dem no fit reach the exact spot because the place na swampy area inside the creek.

He say police and military personnel later reach the area to begin rescue efforts.

Ondo State Police Command don confirm the aircraft crash.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, say investigation don already start to find out exactly wetin cause the crash and what happen.

According to am, the police command confirm say the aircraft crash happen around Igbokoda axis of Ilaje Local Government Area on Monday.

Jimoh also call on residents of Igbokoda and nearby communities make dem remain calm and avoid spreading information wey authorities never confirm.

He say police go give the public more information as soon as credible details about the incident become available.
