Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa don declare a 24-hour curfew for the state with immediate effect, because of the widespread looting and attacks wey hoodlums dey do on innocent citizens. The governor yan dis one for one statement wey he release on Sunday. According to him, the situation don turn dangerous as hoodlums for Yola dey attack people with machetes, dem dey break into people’s businesses and homes, come dey carry away property.

Some other reports also talk say some residents sef join for the looting as dem break into government-owned and private food stores on Sunday, and their reason be say dem dey complain about the hardship wey dey ground as a result of subsidy removal on petrol and the high cost of foodstuff.
