Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) don suspend their planned nationwide protest against the recent 50% increase in telecom tariffs wey the Federal Government approve. NLC President, Joe Ajaero, talk say the Federal Government agree to set up a bigger committee to review the whole tariff structure.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, wey talk on behalf of the Federal Government, say after enough discussion, both parties agree to form a 10-man Committee. The committee go get 5 members from the Federal Government and 5 from NLC to review the study wey NCC do, wey lead to the 50% increase in telecom tariffs. Dem go submit their report within two weeks.
