Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos, go face Algeria for the final qualifying round of the Morocco 2025 Women’s World Cup.
The Flamingos qualify for the final round after they beat South Africa’s Bantwana 5-1 on aggregate, winning 3-1 in Pretoria and 2-0 in Ikenne last Saturday.
Algeria made it to this round after a 4-0 win over Botswana, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg, setting up a final showdown with the Nigerian girls.
The first leg between Nigeria and Algeria go happen between April 18-20, and the second leg between April 25-27, 2025.
The winner over the two legs go secure one of the four spots for Africa at the 2025 FIFA Women’s World Cup, as Morocco already qualify as the host country.
