The Board of Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigerian Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps don suspend senior officers of the service to allow proper investigation into the different allegations against dem.
For statement wey the Board Secretary, Ja’afaru Ahmed, release, e talk say the officers: Michael Anugwa and Sikiru Adekunle, wey be Deputy-Controller of corrections, in charge of Medium and Maximum Security Custodial Centre for Kiri-kiri, Lagos, dem suspend dem because of one viral video wey relate to Idris Okuneye, wey people sabi as Bobrisky.
The board also suspend ASC II Ogbule Obinna, wey dey work for Medium Security Custodial Centre for Afikpo, Ebonyi State, for allegedly escorting one convicted inmate comot from the custodial centre to another location. Plus, the board suspend another senior officer, Iloafonsi Ikechukwu, Deputy-Controller of Corrections (DCC), in charge of Medium Security Custodial Centre for Kuje, Abuja, for allegedly collecting money on behalf of one inmate.
