The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, don inaugurate the Project Implementation Committee for the provision and installation of security surveillance system for the Abuja-Kaduna Highways (Highways and Railways).

The Minister talk say the security solutions wey dem dey provide along the Abuja-Kaduna highways go help control the frequent security challenges wey dey happen for the route.

According to the statement wey the Director (information, Press & PR) of the ministry, Henshaw Ogubike release, the Minister yan say the eight-man committee get members wey dem draw from the Ministry, the Services, and other security Agencies.

Dem go ensure say dem successfully install the security surveillance system for both highways and railways along Abuja-Kaduna highways within 18 months.

The committee go also ensure say the equipment wey dem go use for the installation meet the technical specifications, and dem go suggest any other measure wey dey necessary for the successful implementation of the system.
