Lagos State Government don give 48-hour quit notice to people wey dey illegally occupy Ikoyi Towers wey dey for Lagos Island.

Na di Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, give di notice during inspection for some places wey dem do for di weekend. Dem talk say di Ikoyi Towers wey belong to Federal Government get illegal occupants wey dey threaten security and cause kasala for di environment for di state.

Dem still give order say make dem remove illegal structures and business activities wey dey along di fence of Ebutte Elefun High School wey dey cause stagnant water for canal for Ebutte Elefun – Adeniji Adele, for Lagos Island.

Commissioner Wahab still talk say di allegations say na only two hours notice dem give people wey dey for di demolished Mende Villa Estate wey dey build on top drainage channels no be true. Wahab explain say government don give di residents two demolition notices, one for 2021 and another one for 2023, and di reason na to allow water flow well during di rain season and prevent flooding for di state.
