INEC dey propose to replace Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) with computer-generated slips or downloadable credentials for voter accreditation.

Di Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, talk this one yesterday during di consultative meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners for Abuja. He explain say di proposal be part of di 142 recommendations wey dey inside di commission’s 524-page report.

Yakubu talk say dis move go help save cost, solve di problem of PVC collection, and also stop di buying of PVCs wey dey make some people no fit vote.
