Federal Government don assure motorists wey dey use Sagamu-Ijebu Ode part of Sagamu-Benin expressway say dem go start palliative work for the bad portions of the road. Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, wey talk after e check the bad parts of the road for Sagamu yesterday, say the bad condition of the road don cause plenty wahala for motorists, but e promise say dem go fix am before the year end.

The Minister wey also dey tour to check how work dey go for Lagos-Calabar Coastal road, assure say the big refuse dump for the area no go add extra cost for the construction or slow down the work, and dem go soon remove the illegal squatters wey dey for the area.

Umahi still talk say the May 2025 deadline to finish the forty-seven kilometres road still dey intact.
