Chinese leader Xi Jinping don pledge over $50 billion to support Africa over the next three years. He promise to boost cooperation in infrastructure and trade with the continent during Beijing’s biggest summit since the pandemic.

More than 50 African leaders and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres dey attend this week’s China-Africa forum, according to state media. For the opening ceremony of the forum in Beijing yesterday, Xi praise the relationship with Africa as being in its “best period in history.”
