The Basketball Africa League (BAL) don announce say their expanded fourth season go start for March 2024 for South Africa. The 2024 BAL season go get the top 12 club teams from 12 African countries, and dem go play 48 games for four different African countries: South Africa, Egypt, Senegal, and Rwanda. This go be the first time BAL games go happen for South Africa and also the first time the league go play for four different countries.

For the first time, the 12 teams go dey split into three conferences, with each conference get four teams. Each conference go play one group phase wey get 12 games, and each team go face the other three teams for its conference twice.

The Kalahari Conference group phase go happen for March, followed by the Nile Conference group phase for April, and the Sahara Conference group phase for May. The top two teams from each conference and the top two third-place teams from the three conferences go travel go Rwanda for four seeding games, plus eight single-elimination Playoffs and Finals wey go take place from May to June.
