Venezuela opposition party don call for worldwide protests on 17 August to support their claim say dem win the country’s presidential election. The government-controlled electoral commission don declare President Nicolás Maduro as the winner, giving him a third consecutive term.

But the opposition dey insist say their candidate, Edmundo González, na the real winner, and dem don demand say the commission should release detailed data from polling stations. The European Union and the US don support this call, while some other Latin American countries still dey hold back from recognizing Maduro as the winner of last month’s election.
