For di letter wey im sign, di minister tok say di attack wey Ali do on im character no get basis, and e be attack on decency, honesty, and integrity. Im say although e fit ignore di allegations, afta im do deep consultations, e decide to come out and set di records straight.

In di statement, di Minister say e don instruct im lawyer to write letter to Bash Ali, dey demand say im must retract im allegations publicly and tender apology within one week. If Ali no do am, di minister say im go go court to clear im name and seek damages.

Back for 2021, Abuja High Court bin give order wey stop Ali from dey make or publish any bad tin against di former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare.

But for one new open letter wey Ali write to President Bola Tinubu, e claim say di current Sports Minister John Enoh ask for anoda one million dollars to support im plan to organize di oldest boxing fight for Nigeria.
