Senate don suspend Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan wey dey represent Kogi Central for six months because of alleged misconduct and violation of Senate rules. As part of the suspension, dem go withdraw her salary and security details, she no go fit enter National Assembly again, and she no go fit take part for legislative work or represent Nigeria in any official way. But her legislative aides go still dey collect their salary during this time.

Senate also talk say dem no go reconsider her suspension until the six-month period finish or she go give formal apology.

For her plea for mercy, the minority leader, Senator Abba Moro, suggest say make dem suspend her for three months, which he believe go give the embattled lawmaker time to realize her mistakes.

But in her response to the suspension, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan talk say the injustice wey dem do am no go last, and she go still serve her people through other ways.
