Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, don declare Monday as work-free day for all teachers for both public and private schools across di two states to celebrate this year’s World Teachers’ Day.

For one statement wey Osun State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. Kolapo Alimi, release, Governor Adeleke talk say this action na to show support for teachers for the state on this special day. Alimi explain say di decision to declare holiday na because of di important role wey teachers dey play for the growth of education, not only for Osun State and Nigeria, but for the whole world.
