Asisat Oshoala and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie don enter the shortlist for the 2023 CAF Women’s Awards. CAF release the list of nominees, and coach Wandy Waldrum also dey nominated for Coach of the Year. Apart from Oshoala, other Nigerian nominees for Player of the Year include Nnadozie, Christy Ucheibe, Osinachi Ohale, Toni Payne, and Uchenna Kanu. Nnadozie also dey nominated for Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, while other Nigerian nominees for Young Player of the Year na Deborah Abiodun, Esther Ajakaye, and Oluwatosin Demehin. The CAF awards go happen for Marrakech, Morocco on December 11, 2023.
