National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) talk say Nigeria inflation rate don drop to 23.18% for February 2025.

Dem talk say the drop happen because the price of some food items, like beans, maize, cassava, and others, don reduce.

For the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Inflation Report wey dem release yesterday, NBS talk say the inflation rate drop by 1.30% compared to the 24.48% wey dem record for January 2025.

Dem also talk say the big drop in food inflation to 23.51% on a year-on-year basis, which na 14.41% lower, happen because dem change the base year to 2024.
