Member of House of Representatives, Alex Ikwechegh, don dey hold for police detention for physically assaulting e-hailing app driver, Stephen Abuwatseya, for Abuja. FCT Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirm say Ikwechegh dey undergo questioning for Maitama Police Station, after the taxi driver report the matter.

The FCT command talk say the lawmaker disrespect the Inspector-General of Police during their wahala and make statement wey no dey respect the IGP office. Dem go take appropriate legal action after dem finish their investigation. Ikwechegh’s political party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, also talk say dem go set up disciplinary committee to investigate am and fit sanction am.
