The Labour Party (LP) don suspend their National Treasurer, Oluchi Opara, for six months. The party’s spokesperson, Obiora Ifoh, talk this one for one conference wey happen for the LP national headquarters for Abuja.

Dem talk say Opara dey sponsored by the same people wey use Lamidi Apapa, Anslem Eragbe, and Yomi Arabambi to cause wahala for the party. Opara bin challenge LP National Chairman, Julius Abure, on Monday, to give account for the alleged N3.5 billion wey dem make from the sale of nomination forms and fundraising activities for the run-up to the 2023 general election.

Ifoh talk say contrary to the allegations, the party only make N1.2 billion from donations by members and sales of forms to some aspirants for the 2023 elections.
