Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, talk say im administration don plan to double the number of police officers for di country. Egbetokun talk say dem sabi say police force no get enough people, and right now, one police officer dey do work wey suppose dey for two. Im talk say dem go increase the manpower gradually, and President Bola Tinubu don approve yearly recruitment for police force. Meanwhile, dem don appoint DCP Waheed Ayilara as Acting Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, as e take over from former commissioner, AIG Idowu Owohunwa.
