The Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) don reach agreement to stop the strike wey the union been dey threaten. After their meeting yesterday, dem set up one sub-committee to review ASUU demands and make sure say dem settle all the wahala. The government still promise to find lasting solution to the crisis.

As e dey brief newsmen after the closed door meeting, Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, talk say both parties agree to meet again on Sept. 6. On him own side, ASUU National President, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, express hope say dem go fit settle all the issues before the Sept. 6 meeting.
