Spokesperson for di Nigeria Correctional Service, Abubakar Umar, wey confirm di increase, talk say na di “first phase” of beta plan wey dem get to improve di living conditions for inmates and also address di rising food cost.

People don dey talk say dem need di increase for di feeding allowance after e come out for December 2023 say di Controller General of di NCoS, Haliru Nababa, talk say dem dey allocate N750 per day for each prisoner, while dem dey spend N800 daily to feed di 900 dogs wey dey di service.
