Federal Government don approve tariff increase wey Nigerian telecommunication companies dey request. Dem bin ask Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for 100% hike, but Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, talk say the increase no go reach the full 100%.
After meeting with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) for Abuja yesterday, the minister still add say government no go dey leave investment for infrastructure for private companies hand alone again.
Meanwhile, NCC Executive Vice-Chairman, Dr. Aminu Maida, talk say dem go announce the exact percentage of the increase within one or two weeks after dem finish more meetings with stakeholders.
