Federal Government And TUC Don Gree Two Weeks To Take Settle Labour Matter

The Federal Government and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria don agree to give government two weeks to address some of the grievances wey the Congress get. The Minister of Labour and Employment, Solomon Lalong, talk this one for Abuja after dem finish meeting with Trade Union Congress leadership, wey Comrade Festus Osifo dey head. According to Lalong, the wahala wey them wan solve within two weeks include wage award for federal civil servants to help dem with the wahala of poverty wey dey rise among them, and tax exemption for some workers, whether for government work or private work.

Nigeria Labour Congress bin start two-day warning strike yesterday after them no show for meeting with the Federal Government because of the hardship and suffer wey dey the country due to the removal of fuel subsidy. The National Union of Banks, Insurance and Financial Institution Employees (NUBIFIE) don direct bank workers make dem no go work for these two days, but some banks for Lagos no gree follow the call as dem still dey attend to customers.
