Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) don yan say dem don share $61.64 million give foreign airlines through different Deposit Money Banks (DMBs). Acting Director of Corporate Communications, Mrs Hakama Sidi-Ali, talk dis one for statement wey dem release for Abuja on Sunday. Dem talk say na to clear backlog of matured foreign exchange for DMBs dem promise to do. For di last three months, CBN talk say dem don settle almost two billion dollars for outstanding forward liabilities. Remember say foreign airlines get about $800 million wey dey trapped for Nigeria, and dis na one major reason why International Air Transport Association (IATA) talk say some of dem fit comot from Nigerian market if dem no handle di matter.
