Aviation workers for Nigeria don suspend their planned protest wey dey for September 18, 2024, over 50% deductions from the revenue of aviation agencies.
The agencies: Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), and Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), bin dey plan strike after dem blame Federal Government for no reversing the 50% deduction policy from the revenue wey the agencies dey generate.
But according to statement wey General Secretary of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, Olayinka Abioye, sign, ongoing discussions by higher authorities over the continued deductions make dem suspend the planned protest wey dey for today, September 19, until the outcome of the discussions clear.
