Nigerian university lecturers, wey dey under the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), don give Federal Government 21-day ultimatum for strike wey dem plan to start nationwide.

This notice na part of the decisions wey dem make for their national executive council meeting wey happen for University of Ibadan over the weekend.

Remember say ASUU don threaten for July this year say dem go start indefinite strike if Federal Government no implement the renegotiated 2009 agreement.

The Chairman of ASUU for Gashua branch for Yobe State, Melemi Abatcha, don earlier talk during press briefing say the major issues wey dey affect the education sector na funding for the revitalization of Nigerian public universities and the renegotiation of the 2009 agreement.
