The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate and incumbent governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, win the Ondo State governorship election wey happen on Saturday.

Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, wey be the Returning Officer for INEC and Vice Chancellor of University of Lokoja, declare Aiyedatiwa winner yesterday for Akure after dem count results from all 18 local government areas.

Akinwumi talk say Aiyedatiwa, the APC candidate, get 366,781 votes, and he beat im closest rival, Ajayi Agboola of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wey get 117,845 votes. Neyo Adeyemi of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) come third with 4,138 votes.

The election happen peacefully, and no violence or ballot snatching report.
