Ademola Lookman don win the 2024 African Footballer of the Year award in a historic event wey confirm him as one of the best players in the world for this calendar year.

The Super Eagles forward beat South Africa’s Ronwen Williams, Cote d’Ivoire’s Simon Adingra, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, and Guinea striker Serhou Guirassy to take the prize.

Lookman’s win keep the award in Nigeria after his teammate, Victor Osimhen, won am last year.

For the women side, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie don win the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for 2024, while the Super Falcons won the Women’s National Team of the Year award.
