The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, wey dem suspend, don disown the groups wey dey do public prayers and protests for her support, talk say she never send dem.
President Tinubu bin suspend Edu on January 8 based on alleged financial impropriety and also order investigation into the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry.
However, Edu, through her Media aide, Rasheed Olanrewaju, yan say she dey “confident and committed” to the ongoing investigation wey the President don start, and she dey cooperate fully with the relevant authorities.
She talk say, despite the support wey she dey get from well-meaning Nigerians and groups since her suspension, any activity wey involve road walk, protest, or prayer session wey dey linked to her go distract from the ongoing investigation.
