South African government don give Taiwan until the end of March to move their de facto embassy outside of Pretoria. Taiwan Foreign Ministry release statement talk say China pressure be the reason for this decision. Dem also say the move shows how China dey try suppress Taiwan, especially in South Africa, but talk say negotiation between Taiwan and South Africa still dey happen.

South Africa cut official diplomatic ties with Taiwan in 1997, and e still dey maintain strong relationship with China, wey see Taiwan as part of its territory, no matter say Taiwan dey run its own government and get democracy.
