Nigeria’s inflation rate don drop from 33.40% for July to 32.15% for August. Na the second month wey inflation don dey decline consecutively this year.

For the Consumer Price Index report wey National Bureau of Statistics release yesterday, e show say the headline inflation rate ease to 32.15% for August 2024, while food inflation stand at 37.52% for the same month.

On a month-on-month basis, the headline inflation rate for August 2024 be 2.22%, wey be 0.06% lower than the 2.28% wey record for July 2024.
