President Bola Tinubu don talk say e fit miss some of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rallies ahead of the 2027 general election because e need to focus on how to run the country and meet Nigeria financial responsibilities.

Tinubu talk this on Wednesday during the opening ceremony of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the Banquet Hall of Presidential Villa, Abuja.

As e dey address party leaders and members, the President explain say the work wey e dey do as Nigeria leader go make am focus on how to govern the country, while campaign officials go coordinate campaign activities for different states and local government areas.

Tinubu talk say Nigeria need more attention now pass before, and the responsibility wey come with the office of President no dey wait because of campaign.

E explain say even though e go continue to speak directly to Nigerians, e no go fit follow the campaign team go every place wey dem plan to visit.

According to am, the country still get bills to pay, including money wey Nigeria owe American creditors, and dem no fit keep waiting.

“So, make una excuse me if I no follow una go everywhere; we get bills to pay. The American creditors no fit wait,” Tinubu talk.

The President also explain say government need to attract investors wey ready to put money into Nigeria for a long time. E suggest say the country economic and financial responsibilities go remain important even as political parties prepare for the 2027 election.

Tinubu add say e agree with party members wey advise am make e no allow the stress of campaign activities distract am from the work of governing Nigeria.
