NARD don talk say dem go start daily peaceful protest from Wednesday to make sure say dem demands dey met. Dem write letter give the Permanent Secretary of Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) to inform am say na the decision of the National Executive Council of NARD to embark on the protest.

All federal and state tertiary health institutions nationwide go follow join the protest, and the aim of the protest na to put pressure on the government to address the demands wey dem don dey neglect.

The association believe say government still get time to address the issues wey dem dey talk about before Aug. 9, or else dem no go get any other option. The major demands wey the association get na: make dem pay the 2023 Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) immediately, release circular on one-for-one replacement, and pay the skipping arrears.
