The Lagos state government don ban okada for four additional Local Government Areas and dia respective Local Council Development Areas (LCDA’s) with effect from September 1st 2022.

The state commissioner for Transportation, Frederick Oladeinde wey make the announcement for press briefing yesterday, tok say the decision follows plenty rubbing of mind with relevant stakeholders and the general public.

The Local Government Areass wey the okada ban affect na Oshodi-Isolo, Mushin, Kosofe and Somolu, while the LCDA’s are Ikosi-Isheri, Agboyi-Ketu, Isolo, Bariga, Odi-Olowo and Ejigbo.

The commissioner yarn say the ban na to contnue the achievements wey dem don make so far, with particular reference to accident and crime rates wey don reduce, as well as to continue to maintain sanity within communities for the state.
