Malawi don suspend the issuing of passports after cyber attackers attack their immigration service computer system. President Lazarus Chakwera talk say the hackers dey ask for ransom, but the government no go gree pay.

There dey high demand for passports for Malawi, especially from young people wey dey look for job opportunities abroad.

Mr. Chakwera talk say he don give the immigration department three weeks to find temporary solution and start to issue passports again, while dem dey try to take back control of their system.
