Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, don hail the arrival of another brand-new Airbus for Ibom Air, say the latest aircraft na another clear sign say him administration no dey sleep when e come to expanding the state-owned airline and building Akwa Ibom aviation sector.

Eno talk this shortly after e touch ground for Ibom International Airport, Uyo, according to statement wey the state government media team release on Thursday.

The governor explain say the new Airbus no be only Ibom Air matter. According to am, e dey part of bigger plan wey Akwa Ibom dey push to build aviation system wey fit stand on him own, create serious employment, bring foreign exchange enter the state and add more money to the state economy.

Eno reveal say the latest aircraft na the third Airbus wey his administration don acquire since dem enter office for 2023. But e no end there.

The governor also disclose say government don already pay fully for two other aircraft, meaning say under the administration, dem don commit money for five aircraft altogether.
