FIFA don propose to open extra transfer window for June next year ahead of the first edition of the expanded Club World Cup for the United States, as dem announce on Thursday.
This extra window go join the ones wey dey happen for January and during the European summer, to allow teams wey dey participate for the Club World Cup to strengthen their squads before the tournament, wey go run from June 15 to July 13 next year.
Since June 30 na the traditional date wey contracts dey expire, FIFA go also allow clubs to replace small number of players during a short window wey go run from June 27 to July 3.
Plus, FIFA dey try to manage any potential clashes wey fit happen because the Club World Cup go dey coincide with international tournaments. The CONCACAF Gold Cup go also dey happen at the same time for Canada and the USA, so any player wey fit dey involved for both tournaments go get freedom to choose which one he wan play.
