Department of State Services (DSS) don release labour leader Joe Ajaero from their custody.

Ajaero confirm say dem let am go around past 11pm on Monday. E talk say dem grill am for about 15 hours since dem arrest am around 7am for Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Dem question am about alleged terrorism financing involving British national, Andrew Wynne. Ajaero, wey dey on im way to the United Kingdom for Trade Union Congress (TUC) event when dem arrest am, say DSS don seize im travel passport.

NLC don condemn Ajaero’s arrest and don give DSS Tuesday midnight to release the labour leader. The union don also put all their affiliates, state councils, civil society allies, and all patriotic Nigerians on high alert because of “this troubling development.”
