US President, Donald Trump, don sign executive order wey go sanction di International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing di court of carrying out “illegitimate and baseless actions” against America and its close ally, Israel.

Di sanctions go affect individuals and their families who assist in ICC investigations into American citizens or allies, with financial and visa restrictions placed on them.

Trump’s executive order talk say di ICC’s recent actions don set a “dangerous precedent,” endangering Americans by exposing them to “harassment, abuse, and possible arrest.”

Since di US no be member of di ICC, dem don reject several times any jurisdiction from di court over American officials or citizens.
