King Charles go host President Tinubu and him wife for Windsor Castle from Wednesday, March 18, to Thursday, March 19.
This visit na first time in 37 years wey Nigerian leader dey go state visit to UK, and Tinubu na the first Nigerian leader wey British monarch go host for Windsor Castle.
Nigeria and United Kingdom get long history and strong relationship. The main reason for this visit na to make the relationship stronger and look into areas like immigration, trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
While dem dey Windsor Castle, King and Queen go show the President and First Lady special exhibition of items from Royal Collection wey get connection with Nigeria. Later, King Charles and Tinubu go get private meeting and also meet organisations wey dey promote interfaith dialogue.
According to Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, Royal Family go host state banquet to honour the Nigerian guests for evening.
President Tinubu go still meet UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, for 10 Downing Street. The meeting go help both countries expand their relationship, and dem go sign different agreements on trade, investment, defence, and cultural cooperation.
Tinubu go also witness signing of £746 million deal between UK Export Finance (UKEF), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), and Federal Ministry of Finance. The money go help repair Lagos Port Complex (Apapa) and Tin Can Island Port.
