Popular social media platform TikTok don dey accused say e dey harm and no dey protect young people for new lawsuits wey dem file for different U.S. states. Dem file the lawsuits on Tuesday for New York, California, and 11 other states, including the District of Columbia. This one join other legal issues wey the Chinese-owned company dey face for U.S.

The latest cases accuse TikTok say dem dey use addictive software to keep children glued to their screen, exploit children to make more profit, and no dey do proper content moderation.

But TikTok don reject these allegations, saying dem dey disappointed say the states decide to sue them instead of working together for better solutions. Dem also talk say dem don already put safety measures like screen time limits and better privacy settings for users wey never reach 16 years.
