Suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorist don attack motor wey carry APC governorship candidate for Borno State, Mustapha Gubio.
The attack happen Thursday around 2:30pm for Kareto-Damasak Road, northern Borno, as Gubio and im team dey go Damasak for appreciation tour for northern part of the state.
Borno State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Nahum Daso, confirm the attack Friday and talk say nobody for the motor die.
Daso talk say different security men join body quickly go face the attackers and force dem run comot.
Yesterday Thursday around 2:30pm, suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorist attack the motor of the APC governorship candidate along Kareto. Nobody die.
He add say dem believe say one of the attackers fit don collect bullet as dem dey run comot.
Daso still talk say the attack no stop Gubio and im people from continuing their journey go Damasak.
Police Force spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, for im own statement, talk say APC candidate, government workers and other political people dey inside the motor.
He talk say police special men fight back after the attackers use bomb wey dem make by themselves and rocket bomb attack the motor.
He say the security men chase the attackers enter bush, before dem search and clear the area well to make sure say dem no leave another bomb for road.
Hundeyin add say security men carry everybody wey dey inside the motor go safe place, and nobody among dem die or collect injury.
