The late Toba Ijaya, wey serve as Organising Secretary of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), dey bury am amid tears and emotional as mourners struggle to come to terms with the shocking way wey e take die.
Videos wey circulate online show hundreds of people surround the burial ground, some dey cry openly, others dey shake their heads for disbelief as dem pay their last respects to the union leader.

How Gunmen End Toba Ijaya Life
Reports show say the tragedy happen on Sunday evening when unknown gunmen attack Toba Ijaya vehicle for the Fadeyi area of Lagos.
The attackers allegedly open fire on the union leader, leaving am with serious gunshot injuries.
Although efforts dey reportedly made to save am, Toba later die from the wounds.
Since the incident happen, the Lagos State Police Command don confirm the attack and launch manhunt for the people behind the killing.
But several days after the shooting, police never release any fresh update on whether dem don identify or arrest any suspect.

Many NURTW members wey attend the burial also describe Toba as somebody wey dedicate im life to union activities and grassroots mobilisation.
