South-West Governors Forum meet yesterday at Lagos State House, where dem strongly condemn ISWAP threats wey don affect some parts of South-West Nigeria. Dem talk say dem go establish joint security surveillance to counter any threat from the terror group.
As part of their decision, the forum agree to appoint special security advisers in each South-West state and create a joint security monitoring team to help coordinate security efforts across the region.
On the South West Development Commission, dem also agree say the commission’s headquarters go dey situated for Ibadan at the Cocoa House premises when everything don fully sign and establish.
Food security to tackle food inflation also become one of the key issues wey dem discuss at the meeting, according to state house correspondent, Godfrey Gabriel.
