Senator Ahmed Wadada wey dey chair Public Accounts Committee talk say the money no miss and nobody thief am, but dem never fit explain am properly.

E talk say the N210 trillion na two parts, N103 trillion na debt, and N107 trillion na asset and both must get clear explanation. All the 18 or 19 questions wey dem ask NNPC come from Auditor-General report, no be from government side.

Dem never talk say the money miss or thief, na just say make NNPC show how the money take waka.

Senate committee dey do investigation wey dem suppose do by law, based on questions wey dey inside audit report. Dem don give NNPC three weeks make dem send written answer to all 19 questions. After that, NNPC GCEO go come back with other management people to defend the matter.

Ojulari, wey just enter office about 100 days ago, show face for committee for the first time and beg say e no fit come before.

E still ask make dem give am more time to check the 19 audit questions well before e go reply.

Ojulari talk say e just spend small time for office as NNPC GCEO, just pass 100 days and e need more time to dig deep into the matter wey dey ground. E say the explanation wey e hear don change how e see the issue, and e go gather team to help reconcile the details well. E promise to work with external auditors and other people wey sabi the matter to fit answer the questions properly.

Even though Ojulari ask for four weeks, Senate committee gree give am three weeks to prepare NNPC defence.
