Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, don promise say him go continue to build infrastructure across the whole state. He talk this one as him open new road network for Badagry Local Government and Olorunda LCDA on Wednesday.

As him dey address the people wey gather, Sanwo-Olu thank dem for the support wey dem give during the last local government election. He still talk say him government go continue to focus on development wey go reach grassroots.

He say, “Una support and patience during the time wey we dey build these roads really help us. Even with all the wahala wey dey come with big construction work like noise and inconvenience, una still cooperate. Na this kind community spirit help us finish the roads well and on time.”

Sanwo-Olu talk say the aim of the road projects no be just to build road, but to boost trade and business, help tourism grow, and connect remote areas wey people no dey reach before. He say, “We believe say if we fit build better infrastructure, tourism go grow well for Lagos.”

Governor Sanwo-Olu talk say him government still dey serious about making sure say every corner of Lagos enjoy development. He say, “Whether na road, drainage or other important things, we go reach every part of the state. Real development na the one wey touch everybody life.”

He still assure the people say all the promises wey dem make before about the projects don complete.

The roads wey dem open include Samuel Ekundayo/Toga Road and Hospital Road. Dem build am to help connect different areas and support tourism around places like General Hospital, Agiya Tree Monument, and Slave Trade Relic/Town Hall.

Sanwo-Olu talk say Samuel Ekundayo/Toga Road go serve as another route wey connect Badagry Roundabout to Limca/Ibereko, instead of using only Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

He say, “As we don finish Phase II of the road, e don help connect communities for Badagry better.”

He also talk say Hospital Road dey very important because e near Badagry Marina, wey be key place for water transport wey connect Badagry to Lagos Mainland, Island, and even other West African countries.

At the end, Sanwo-Olu beg the people make dem protect the new roads. He say, “I dey beg all community leaders, Badagry people and everybody wey go use the road, make una take care of the infrastructure wey we dey hand over today, so e go last for future generations.”
