The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors don declare seven-day warning strike because of di abduction of their colleague, Dr. Ganiyat Popoola, wey dem kidnap almost eight months ago.

NARD President, Dr. Dele Abdullahi, talk say dem decide to start di strike today, Monday, August 26, during di Emergency National Executive Council meeting.

Remember say Dr. Popoola, wey be registrar for di Department of Ophthalmology at di National Eye Centre, Kaduna, dem kidnap am on December 27, 2023, along with her husband and nephew. Her husband don release since March, but Popoola and her nephew still dey in captivity.
