President Bola Tinubu don give every member of the Super Eagles wey participate for the just-concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON). President Tinubu dey host the Super Eagles for the Council Chambers of the State House.

This meeting wey happen on Tuesday, dey come after their recent match against the host nation, Côte d’Ivoire, for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations finals, where dem no fit carry the trophy.

Apart from the national honour, the federal government, through the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesome Wike, don give each team member plot of land and one flat for one undisclosed location as additional recognition for their achievement.
